I'm looking to run my own node and get more involved with the network. It seems like a lot of people disagree on this, so I need help deciding between Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Knots. Make my decision easy please. #bitcoin #homelab

There is no easy answer. No one can tell you which to run, you’ll have to make that decision on your own. But if you don’t have a strong opinion one way or the other, start with Core and when/if it no longer meets your needs you can look further.
It makes no difference if you start from zero. Running any Bitcoin version is better than not running any node.
