It depends on how many monero dependencies are there. At this point, I don't even know why would anyone associate any monero information to a public identity, like a Nostr public key. I thought the point was to be private. This is to say that ideally we should find somebody that trully knows how to do this and can maintain it over time without breaking the privacy garantees provided by the network.

Yeah it should be done the same way that https://xmrchat.com does for streamer tipping, you create a wallet exclusively for this and make the view key available so donos and amounts can be public and be verified

People may want to selectively reveal such info to incentivize usage, create leaderboards, bulletin boards, etc. and it doesn't break full privacy, the view key alone doesn't reveal when an output is spent, so it's unknown where the donos you receive are sent, to where, when, if they ever moved etc
