Thankyou to everyone who donated some sats after reading about the horrendous approach taken by PayPal, restricting the GrapheneOS Foundation from withdrawing pre-existing donations.

The Nostr, Lightning and broader Bitcoin community are a wonderful group of people.

Be well everyone, with gratitude and apprecation from myself and the rest of the GrapheneOS Team.

anything that adopts nostr and bitcoin is a good sign

Appreciate you 🫡

Why did they restrict your funds in the first place? Was your account set up as a charity?

It was set up for the GrapheneOS Foundation non profit yes, we had passed all KYC however this is a result of us supporting crypto for donations.

That’s crazy, how is that any of their business?

They want to monopolize how ShitPal users use crypto.

Can you donate crypto through PayPal?

crypto yuck

you can donate bitcoin directly thru nostr

You can buy and hold (through a centralized service) Bitcoin, don't know much beyond that because fuck PayPal.

anyone that supports crypto should get the rope kek

anyway welcome to nostr and bitcoin, now no one can censor or defund you

PayPal is a well known shithole

some are good at heart and pro nazis too 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Clippy says: looks like your social credit score is too low and you are buying medieval swords and armor, but there's no renaissance festival on your calendar. I'm going to go ahead and take care of that for you." Spoken in the voice of William Lumbergh from Office Space.

Google, under the guise of "testing" has started introducing the Web Integrity system into browsers - a powerful surveillance tool that allows the company to block the user from accessing any site or service.

The ban can be imposed for practically anything - using unofficial plugins or even Adblockers, and potentially sites Alphabet deem "inappropriate."

The justification for the digital Gulag? "Concern for the digital security of users."

Will you make the GrapheneOS supporter badge available again?
