I think it's turning into a Radiohead Kid A or Amnesia day. These remixes on Nostr Nests right now are sick nostr:npub13pnmakf738yn6rv2ex9jgs7924renmderyp5d9rtztsr7ymxg3gqej06vw . Why not listen to both? Radiohead released an album 2 years ago which is just those two incredible albums together in one discography along with a bunch of unreleased B-sides. Radiohead B-sides used to be some of my favorite songs back in the day.

For my next #grownostr segment, let's discuss my love for music.

I spent a decade of my life overly obsessed with Radiohead and Sigur Ros. I really identified with their music and their music helped me get through some rough patches in my life when it seemed like women were breaking my heart left and right.

After my Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Muse, and Dredg phase, I moved onto the punk genre. Punk, ska, screamo, emo, pop-punk, you name it. From Blink 182, to Millencolin, to No Use for a Name, to The Offspring, to Me First and the Gimme Gimmies, and so many more. If it was a punkish band in the early 2000's, it was my jam.

Eventually, I started to listen to more EDM and that's where I've been for the past decade or more. I can't say I have a favorite EDM artist as there are so many remixes and random tracks that I come across from various portions of the Internet. If has a good beat and sick drops, count me in.

The only thing I really don't like is country or rap. If the mood hits right, you may find me getting really into a rap song from the 90's or early 2000, but beyond that, that genre just isn't for me. I know even less about country music. I kind of hate it... Johnny Cash is alright though.

I'm always listening to music though. If I'm doing yard work or fiat mining, there's always music playing. 🎧

Sigur Ros. Impressive. Didn’t know try where a thing across the sea.

They are basically my islandic brothers. Spend a lot of time listening to them like 15 years ago. And been to some amazing concerts with them here in Denmark.

OMG YES! I love Sigur Ros! Jonsi is amazing. I saw them in concert back in 2000. It was wild. Listening and watching Jonsi strum his guitar with a cello bow while screaming into it. Wild. My old college friend was from Iceland and he knew the drummer, Orri.

The music is so wild.

If you ever get the chance to do a road trip around Iceland you totally get to feel of why their music is they way it is.

We had a couple of danish bands that people (my self included) that listened to Sigur Ros also listened to. Kashmir and Mew.

This song on a good pair of headphones with the volume up…

or at Roskilde Festival with 70.000 other people in the middle of the night and blue lights all over the place.🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
