i have a vicious inner-dialogue, and my go-to methods would be to either do something constructive (workout, complete chores, etc.) or brood lol

the former led to me avoiding the issues or discomfort; the latter allowed me to work through it but grew resentment. :/

and, in the past, both led me to withdraw.

learning how to sit with myself and still my mind while maintaining open communication is something i've been working on. it helps to separate myself from my inner dialogue. idk if that make sense.
