Was going through some old family records and came across this old Christmas letter between my relatives, dated Dec 24, 1953:

"Merry Xmas and a very happy new year

Are you still picking cotton we are. Don is driving a tractor."

I'm proud of my family's humble roots, it's amazing to look back and see how drastically things have changed in just a few generations.
