If you are offended by any word, YOU are simply giving people power over you. Whether someone is being an asshole or not, how you respond is your problem. Stop being retarded. You give words their power.

For example: "Gringo" has become a term of endearment in many parts of Central & South America because white expats simply didn't care. Imagine trying to insult someone & then having to explain that they should be insulted.

And identifying yourself as part of some oppressed or marginalized group is incredibily self defeating. If you believe that people are predispositioned to dislike you for some reason, you will not only behave in ways that make that true, but you will misinterpret all sorts of behavior from people which really has nothing to do with you. More often than not, believing is seeing, as opposed to the other way around.

Words have immense power and should not be used lightly. Matthew 12:36 (NKJB) - “…for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.”
