Whilst you can indeed find geographer’s/scholars who define a continent as a single mass of land, you can also find just as many (more infact) who define a continent by more than a single mass of land.

This debate has been argued for centuries & it is NOT universally agreed upon.

If you choose to agree upon on it, you have indeed chosen whether you want to or not. 🤣
