there is no government.
there are specific people with specific skillsets & incentives.
these strangers owe you nothing & will take from you everything.
expecting them to have your best interest in mind is delusional.

I would say that I certainly believe this about half of what the government spends its money on.
Killing other people just like me in the name of freedom, liberty or democracy.

The trap most people fall is thinking that government cares about them.. 😅
some of the smartest people I know can’t get enough of the political games, weighing their precious votes very carefully… it’s sad

I tend to stay out of political games and discourse as I have found there to be little to no value in it. Clashing of egos, division, hatred is unproductive imo.
Though one observation in my experience thus far in my life is ‘governments’ are insatiable and this character trait has not served the individual or any entity with positive outcomes throughout time.
Personal responsibility, empathy and understanding we are part of something bigger than us and creating in that essence is a better path for me.
