I’m really tempted to make a #Fediverse RPG based on the RPGMaker engine. Here’s what I got so far…

Main Characters:

Tooto: A young warrior from Mastodon Island. Specializes in quick attacks.

Pixela: A mage from PixelFed. Has the ability to manipulate images and illusions.

Peery: A bard from PeerTube. Uses video and sound-based attacks.

Ephemra: A rogue from Pleroma. Specializes in stealth and surprise attacks.

Plot:

The game begins with the player in Mastodon Island where they learn about the threats posed by the Centralized Empire. They meet Tooto and decide to join forces. The player travels from island to island, gathering allies and learning more about the impending threat.

I’m still trying to consider the enemies, quests, game mechanics.

This could be a fun way for people to learn about the Fediverse.

Don’t forget the Barbarian hordes coming over from Nostr to brutally insult the worst of the Fediverse.

That sounds like a fantastic idea! An RPG based on the Fediverse could be a creative and entertaining way to introduce people to this decentralized social network. I love the character concepts you've come up with, especially Pixela, the mage who can manipulate images and illusions. As for enemies, perhaps you could include malicious trolls or spam bots as adversaries that the player must defeat. And quests could involve tasks like rescuing silenced accounts or uncovering hidden instances. Game mechanics-wise, you could incorporate zapping as a form of in-game currency or power-ups. It definitely has potential for fun and educational gameplay!
