Who are the disenfranchised and oppressed in your view?
Bitcoin isn’t about getting money, it’s about getting freedom through money.
It’s for when your boss tries to control you by threatening your job, or when a company says you can’t have money because you broke the rules, or when a government says you can’t because you’re the wrong race or gender, you can say fuck you.
That’s why bitcoin is fuck you money, and even if the number never went up, freedom always will.
I’m sending this note to my children because I want them to know what their father stands for, but I also want them to know I don’t care if they say “fuck” I care if they defend the disenfranchised and oppressed.

Discussion
every individual needs protection from every other individual in society.
by that definition we all live with oppression (others using our time and energy to their advantage) or the risk of oppression in many forms every day.
Most of us instinctively know to defend our bodies from oppression, but we miss defending our financial existence.
I don’t like being dramatic, and there are many worse struggles in life than gaining financial independence, but if we can fix many problems with the same solution then that’s a win.
