Suggestions on how to survive with an incurable illness, constantly confined to bed? Having this illness since ten years, but since a week now the seizures are going pretty much all day long 😖.

I would write stories and texts from my bed, but who is interested in spending money on mediocre texts from a nobody?

I never spend money on mediocre stories regardless of a writer's health status. Just write good stuff! 😁

I'm sorry for your chronic health trial. I know it's not easy (to say the least). It can drive a person nuts.

My Catholic self wants to tell you to join your sufferings to Christ and offer them for others. A person who suffers well can be the best pray-er ever, alongside younger children. I don't know if you are Christian, but you should consider Jesus. He is the answer to your longings, and he's calling you. He can help you carry your cross.

My wife and I will pray a rosary for you tonight.

I appreciate your kind words a lot ❤️. I am native german which basically results in mediocre english texts by default 😅🙈.

In my experience christs react very negatively to what I am gonna say now ☺️: I am a spiritual human being but I dont believe in the bible/jesus as the answer to everything. I went to the church and do like lots of the bible texts, especially the ones about altruism (Jesus), but I learned that god is much much more than the bible, way more than what most christians are willing and ready to see.

That said I am very very thankful about you and your wife praying for me 🤗!

Sry for the late answer 🙈. What I meant is this: lots of christians seem to have this tendency to search for all the answers in the bible and sometimes get stuck in a storm of metaphors.

Recently one christian literally told me that you cannot know god, if you haven't read the bible. But if god has all the power, god finds a way to you no matter what. The bible is one way, but not the only one. If you live your whole life in a desert and cannot read, you still can absolutely find to god.

Personally I find the bible very interesting, but I view it as a human created projection of the truth. If you know what god really is, if you no longer have to believe, because you can see god, in everything, then you know that not the bible is the answer, god is the answer.
