No taxes, pura vida, Bitcoin accepted as a national currency, innovation everywhere, beaches, great food. Sounds like heaven.

I’m seeing “citizenship by investment” come up a lot but I think that requires a hefty amount of bitcoin
Hopefully that decreases as bitcoin moons.
That’s always the deal for expats… citizenship is expensive. Places like Mexico, though, will give you a 6 month visa. You have to come back to the states before going back. 🤷♂️
Whatever. Food is great, environment is super chill. The people are warm and friendly. I’ll come visit family twice a year in the states and rent over there.
The issue is, buying real estate is tough if you’re not a citizen in a lot of places. Not much of a lending market in Latin America, either.
