What hardware with 2 native gigabit Ethernet ports would you recommend for a DYI home router?

I don't want to use a spare raspi with an Ethernet dongle...

It needs to have enough RAM and CPU horsepower to handle a full symmetric gigabit connection.

No need for WiFi or extra Ethernet ports, I will just use separate dedicated switches and WiFi APs.

APU4D4 with OpenBSD. There's a few really good guides on the net.

Not necessarily what you are asking for... But a Mikrotik RB750 can do about 970mbps for $60.
