had 100 BTC/block rewards + halvings every 100k blocks
(instead of 50 BTC/block + halvings every 210.000 blocks)
so the max supply was 20 million BTC
the 21m cultists are batshit crazy

Ah, gotcha. Those astrology guys. Pretty sure there's a few posts on bitcointalk from Satoshi on how he decided on the supply limit. Just rough guesses.
