What’s the benefit of running a local #nostr relay?
I have installed one via my local Umbrel but not sure if this is really useful..
Any ideas? 💡

You can backup all your notes from other relays onto it.
I'm currently developing a website for this.
But you can also use it by yourself.

Ah, the rebroadcast is valuable. Until now I am unsure to collect my posts in my local #nostr relay but how could I access the posts on my local relay?
Simply connect to the same wifi where your umbrel node is. Then add your umbrel as an relay. Like "ws://umbrel.local:9040".
Look out that it has to be ws:// not wss:// because it is not SSL/TLS secured. I also don't know the correct port. But you can look this up on your umbrel/relay app :)

But this only works with online relays. Not with local ones. (because this website deploys a Kubernetes Job when someone's submits)
