The global feed is nothing but in Chinese. Kind of annoying tbh.

Some clients such as Amethyst allows you to specify whether you want to read global from certain relays. You should deactivate global feed from free relays and subscribe to a few paid ones.

Also Iris.to handles this client side well. They don't include accounts that aren't followed by someone that you or your friends follow.
Very nice, I may opt to use Iris more often as well then.
Mine isn't that bad tbh but I spent about 2h a few days ago muting a bunch of accounts and I use two paid relays as well. Since then my global has gotten a lot better.
