Of course it can. If you’re an ugly duckling and you optimistically believe that you’re gonna win the miss America pageant tomorrow… or that you can currently afford a new Mercedes on minimum wage, or that your risk of myocarditis doesn’t go up when you take an experimental injection that’s proven to increase myocarditis rates —etc etc. then that’s bullshit.
