I know a lot of parents in Canada who did so that their kids could play ice hockey, and they could go on their spring trip to Cancun.
I spoke to quite a few of them. It wasn't news to them when I told them about the dangers. And they all justified their decision by dismissing the risks and minimizing them. "The plane could just as easily crash, or we get hit by a car crossing the street"...
Their normalcy bias and cognitive dissonance was palpable. They would refuse to research the topic because it was clear that they didn't want to discover something that ran opposite to their position.
There is simply no helping people like that. And it's a tragedy that their kids will pay for it along with them.
I know someone who worked for Pfizer. She got all the shots and is now fucked up. They fired her along with a bunch of other people, but she is still in denial that her employer would inject her with something so dangerous. And she still refuses to read the literature.
