Lol! I'm sure! I won't even try to do any convincing, just countering. Everyone will find #nostr on their own time, but I'd like to plant some seeds.

Depending on the work they are selling, some art doesn't take any explanation to sell

Artist in the booths can be difficult to talk to about any else besides their artwork, they spent all their time creating and so much effort traveling long a distance to set up, and sell their work for 2 1/2 day (30hours) then break it all down to travel home

There at work and they don't want to feel like they're being solicited

All of our focus is selling our our art, they won't have the open mindset to grap Nostr or Bitcoin

All they will be thinking about is why aren't we talking about my art, I need to sell something

Not saying you shouldn't try, but I'm trying to get you to understand their mindset and POV

Especially the long time artfair veterans, the newbies will talk to you because they don't understand, yet

Almost everyone I talked to ended with "you can find me on ___" and it would be so easy to just say "oh, you're on socials? You should check out #nostr", hand them a card and let us both move on. Or stay & talk if they want to but I do t see that happening often.

Well, I figure the worst that can happen is my cards go in the trash & I waste $50 on printing, which is fully justified by all the other much more stupid of ways I do and have wasted money. Best scenerio is it gets stuck in a pocket & looked at later, maybe sparks curiosity for a few. And it's not just art shows but trade shows, conventions, markets, ect. Anywhere I end up where one-on-one sales are happening and I am the consumer, I have the seller's full attention for a few moments. Might as well shoot my shot 😅
