People who make notes saying: “I’m gonna zap everyone who responds to this” bother me. It’s like paying to advertise yourself. It’s not V4V and the vast majority of “people” who respond to these notes are not “people” I see regularly using nostr. They just come out of the woodwork when money is on the table.

Both sides of the spectrum (the shillers AND the beggars) should contemplate how to bring actual value to the space.

This is the most attention-whore post I’ve read on Nostr. We’ve got a global traction in diapers, and one of the most beautiful things about it is the reciprocity of the ZAP. If someone wants to hand out zaps for interactions, for memes, or just because they feel like it — who are we to judge? Let people be happy however they want or can. If you can’t handle that, there’s always the “MUTE” button.
