Don't be bribed with universal basic income. Especially in conjuction with a rollout of a "new digital dollar innovation" or some shit.
All that money is fake anyway.
They can't do it until cash is gone. Also incompatible with much else that can be used as money.

I think they stopped printing new USD bills in 2017. I get a lot of cash in tips and I've been checking them for a month and haven't seen one bill printed later than 2017.
Get rid of cash is for sure in the road map.
