Minimalist in the sense that the protocol is the simplest thing that could work. Simplest is of course relative, but most devs would argue it’s pretty simple.

Through iteration Nostr arrives to the solution that users need, which is always evolving. Nostr merely evolves along at a similar pace.

Maybe the “minimalism” in the protocol is a thing the devs can appreciate.

For me, as an user, I only can interact with the protocol through its clients.

Because from what I see, feature-wise, I think nostr is more complete than other social networks…

Zaps. Invoices. Self-verification. Relays management. Nests. Long-form. Etc.

Which leads to having options between “minimalists” and “maximalists” clients, and that’s a good thing. 😁
