Roy from Breez here. Not sure what happened to your friend, but sats can't just disappear. If you sent an on-chain transaction and the swap failed, they should be refunded in Breez.

FYI here is a screenshot of his transaction history as you can see no outgoing transactions and 0 balance.

I see... I think his channels got forced close for some reason. Maybe something useful in the warning?

I’ll have him check, I’m not sure if I clicked on that icon yesterday, maybe a banner message/ notification can help other users when an edge case like this happens! Happy to hear you guys are on it!
