Could nostr have a way to keep niche content off of relays used by general audiences? I think it would help nostr grow if nostr had a less meta feeling (meaning that many posts on nostr are posts by nostr developers about developing nostr.) I realize that I'm part of this problem 🤣

Along with this could be the idea of clients providing support for relay sets. When I set my client to use a relay set that includes wss://nostrdevs.nostr1.com for example, then perhaps the client could somehow mark each note indicating which relays or relay set was used. Then some "good" relays could selectively filter out content designated as intended for the "bad" relays.

This is how we bring #FediBlock to nostr 🤙🏼

Seems like you’d either need users to agree to this or use LLMs to classify content and only post if it’s related

Or brute force it and have keywords that prevent posts from going there

But I like the idea definitely would make the UX better for normal users
