I still like my job, it’s just a trip to see the non-stop layoffs..
I’ve talked about this before, but I went through 3 layoffs in 3 years working in corporate jobs. Whenever they ran into any sort of budget crunch, the first thing they would do was eliminate the marketing department. It doesn’t matter how many hours a week you spent or how well your work performed. You’re just a number on a spreadsheet to them. I walked away from all of that last year.
