No. Think of ecash as bank notes that can only be redeemed for sats at that particular bank

but,

You can "send" ecash via lightning from one mint to another (from coinOS -> Minibits)

- this is called a 'token melt'

('Mint tokens' is creating ecash)

Melt=spend ecash into lightning

Mint=print/receive ecash from lightning

So when I zap you, my minibits wallet "melts" (burns) ecash, and spends that amount of sats over lightning to your coinOS wallet

-a normal lightning payment

You on coinOS receive the lightning, but you have the option to "mint" ecash from your said lightning balance

Can setup NWC in the settings and do one-tap zaps

I copied the NWC info from Minibits into Amethyst but I can't zap ⚡

Do you have background enabled running ? So minibits can recognize when its being called?

That's a common mistake I make often

npub.cash is free. You only have to pay for a custom address. I recommend Minibits. It's a dedicated app and it's used by Cashu devs.
