Anyone give me a positive #plant I'd on this. It smells fantastic. At first my app said it was Greek Sage, but now it says Common Sage. And #asknostr does it matter?

Sage!

Woohoo!

Salvia officinalis, the common sage. Good for cooking with!

Thanks

100% sage

Cheers

The wife says common sage, after I tore her away from watching TV

Tell her she can go back to the TV. Thanks.

It's Salvia and it's amazing. I use it to taste chickpeas, sautéed in olive oil, onion and garlic (then add tuna). I use it to flavour meat. My best friend has fresh and gift it to me. She also uses it to make sage sticks.

(I don't think it matters...lol)

Thank you

Looks like common sage

Sage

My first thought was sage, but I'm not an expert and definitely can't tell one sage from another.

Just saw this post. My sage has been doing well after the temps cooled. I want to harvest and dry a bunch before it freezes for the winter. Wonderful seasoning for meats, or use it to make tea.
