I think there will be satoshi/dollar parity in my lifetime... but I'm also going to zap 1K sats to every single person who comments on this post.

Just because I see the value skyrocketing doesn't mean I'll hoard it, I still buy TVs even though the price will deflate over the next years. If my prediction is true, I think I'll reflect back with gratitude that I shot out sats to random plebs back in the early days of Nostr

Um really? I do wonder about that. I can currently buy a little over 5000 sats for £1. Every time I look at that, I wonder, am I buying £5000 future pounds for my kids or grandkids. I think so, but it’s hard to know the time frame.

I'm certainly not going to give a time frame, however I think this will partially be BTC getting up to like 2 or 3 million, but then eventually the US dollar hyperinflating as people realize they need to jump ship.

Yeah, I think you’re right. I suspect it might be beyond our life-times. But, nice to think of what we are leaving behind for our families.
