Surly as things go, there is some drama in general, but in 6 months here, haven’t seen a single political fight. I have no idea what party any nostrich is in! We just never talk about that stuff, weird compared to Twitter where it is every day all day long.

Frankly, for non-developers, there is too much NOSTR and technical bitcoin talk. It jumps from that to memes. There needs to (and eventually will) be more macroeconomic, culture, and political content and discourse over here.

It’s true, and honestly I miss some of the Twitter shock value entertainment, but agree nostr will grow and eventually cover more things. Just a different vibe regardless.

Yeah the vibe was caused the sort of people deawn to it.

It’ll increasingly be colored by the sort of people repulsed by the alternatives - a much bigger and more heterogenous group.
