https://x.com/prestonpysh/status/1795241684306939941 lollll been saying this. They think their technical knowledge and virtue signaling makes up for their tiny stacks. Note- I do run a node but I’m also a low key nerd

Tech skills were more important in the Wild West btc days. Now that capital had shown up, that stuff is being delegated out to experts like with anything else. Is it still beneficial? Yes, ofc. But rich dudes buying up tons of etf btc is still going to leap frog them . The barrier of entry are now basically eliminated and it’s more about money now
You can see the cope everywhere with the ops. They be like, “I’d rather have .01 kyc btc in a multisig on my own node rather than $1m btc in an etf! That’s not even real btc! Just absolutely ridiculous statements that normies would laugh at, rightfully so
Kyc free*
Ops really don’t have any friends to call them out for saying these insane mantras lol so they just are in this bubble of delusion and it grows. Bds
I see both sides of it as I grew up as a tech guy and pivoted into finance later so I understand how both sides think. But ultimately the finance guys are more aligned with reality. They are capitalists. Whereas tech guys are more so socialists and their ideals don’t hold water

Just look at corporate America for example. Tech ppl rarely are senior leadership, it’s more so viewed as a cost center. Bitcoin is closer to finance than tech now
If you are not sure then it’s not meaningful enough
