I don't mean that as a slight. In fact, it's a super power. When you stop wanting "things, station, and security" and instead long to build, being able to have fun while staying poor is an unassailable position.

I’d rather be having fun while poor than be a slave to my possessions. I see lots of folks with flashy clothes, fancy cars, going to fancy restaurants having the character and intellectual depth of a dried-out mud puddle.
