Don’t mind me… I’m still just figuring this #nostr stuff out, but so far it is very nifty.
Any idea why when I “follow” someone (on Damus or Primal) that it doesn’t appear to be persisting either place?

Sometimes apps can fight over the follow list. I saw you had nostr21.com in your relay list. I'm running that relay. It used to be free but now it has spam control to charge 21 sats to post so it may have been rejecting. I added you to the allow list so it will work for you if you weren't already signed up. Maybe that will help your follows get unstuck. Welcome to nostr 🌱⛱️🦜🌴
It might be a relay issue. If you happen to have your own server, you can actually run your own relay (which is really cool! makes you sovereign as far as your nostr data is concerned). But otherwise you can add to your relay list. I know that some are paid, which is probably a good way to go, but I haven't dug into this much yet myself.
So I think you were right about the relay issue. I downloaded a different client and it let me add some more relays AND it let me follow. Now my following count is updating across clients. Thanks #Plebstr!
