Does this cause any tax implications?

Yes, but they send you a spreadsheet with the cost basis.

Is this as easy as Mallers makes it sound?

I haven't seen a payment go through yet, but yes it's simple. You can't use it as a credit card payment, but anywhere you'd use ACH it's that simple.

Thank you

I just paid my rent directly from my bitcoin balance this morning. Pretty epic.

That is so cool. Happy for you.

That obviously triggers a taxable event. None of my business but I assume you are just planning to hand your accountant the report that Stike provides you at the end of the year?? This is like my only hang up w trying to spend.

I'm slightly concerned with the whole cost basis bullshit that they rolled out recently, add I have no way of calculating that. Too many different services, purchases spread out over 4 years, there's no way. I'm just going to report it at the basis that I'm DCAing into Strike at.

That makes sense.

I suggest you listen the last nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx Citidel Dispatch. It breaks it down pretty well.

Let me know how it goes. Best of luck my dude.

I'm a little pissed that the fee situation wasn't explained ahead of time. No fee for DCA, but every conversion incurs 0.88%. That's a bit more fiction than I'd like.

Doesn’t seem exorbitant, right? Jack does have a business to run
