Alternatives? I don't wanna log into Primal, etc. with my private key but Alby screwed the pooch with it's recent changes.

Can't you just install an older version?
I love using AlbyHub, It's been enormously reliable and I've used it for almost a year now. Self-custodial and my megalith channel has only been down once and never forceclosed, yet.
OK...maybe I need to try to get it set-up again.

You can have it autounlock but I dont like having my password loaded in there in cleartext
