I didn’t know they made the Cybertruck in blue… I dig it 🤙🏽 https://video.nostr.build/b1620a6476cc989f8e443b28fcf3110f61311b41105b9b7d93bbac2e5e675d3b.mp4

Come on, sharing Greg's videos OK, but also copying the title?
Blue?
Prob wrapped. Still trashy lol
I’d love to have one, but converted to turbo diesel
The link is broken, but I knew it was only a matter of time before someone did it
Oh man lol basically becomes a 1992 F-350 haha
Amazing! A cybertruck with a proper engine
Yes haha
How do you think they made the truck blue? Paint job directly on metal?
Probably vinyl wrap…
Is that a bad idea long term vs paint job?
I don’t think so personally.
I’d rather go with a vinyl wrap than a paint job, personally.
Interesting. Is it better protection for the bodywork? Or does it just look better?
Preserves the original paint, and easier to re-wrap a panel should you need to… vs repainting. Always better to preserve an original painting than respraying a vehicle
They also have cool metallic and photochromatic colors that would cost a fortune if you had to apply dozens of coats of metallic paints to achieve the same look.
This is very interesting. Thanks
And that Cybertruck looks really cool in blue
Ok just saw the guy getting run over bahahaha 😅😅😅
I noticed that too 😂😂😂
To be fair, most truck guys love the unlimited low end torque, It can out an F350 while you watch Netflix, it’s a cool truck
I get that. Definitely a cool truck. It’s too cold in the winter here for EVs
It’s important to have a heated garage.
Lithium batteries can’t take a charge when the temperature drops below 40°
If you only charge the battery to 80% for daily use, you can expand the life cycle exponentially
One way or the other, it takes a lot of effort to retrofit existing garages and energy delivery to this new tech. The range issues make it limited appeal for now, But I’d love to have one
One thing I wonder, is the durability of the battery only affected when it’s idle/stopped, so in the garage or parked. Or is it also affected while it’s powered up and running, so let’s say you’re on the highway but it’s too cold ?
The only limitations cold-weather does to lithium batteries is not being able to take a full charge, But batteries, heat up upon discharge similar to a motor that burns fuel, therefore lithium becomes sustainable when an operation through cold weather
So once it heats up, it would be able to take a full charge?
(Even if it’s too cold for the battery while it’s heated up and running)
When I worked for an electric motorcycle company, we had heated garage spaces and would trickle charge our batteries full each night, so we never encountered the same issues that are customers did. Meanwhile, the customers would never stop complaining that they weren’t informed they have to retrofit their entire home to use these EVs.
Maybe that’s why the company went bankrupt 🤣
There’s a lesson in there somewhere 😂😂
Time to heat up our garages with some miners
I like the way you think

I got two heatbit ordered. Hoping to have them on time for the fall. I'll put one in the garage and test it out.
Interesting. Does it let you choose your mining pool? When I looked into the previous model (the bigger ones) you were stuck with one pool
Supposedly, it is a featured being worked on, that will be added through software update. I can't remember which podcast, but their representative mentioned it.
