I started sleeping with a red light on. It helps for some reason

I did this for a while and know why. Complete darkness increases cortisol. A red light or a glass of milk with some sugar before bed will help keep that from hurting your sleep.

That makes sense. Could maybe get the same effect from just a regular dimmed light
