The nsecbunker use case is one that is deliberately built to feel familiar to users. I fully agree that instant accounts without reliance on other systems (email/phone) is one of nostr’s super powers but we have a long way to go before users are comfortable with that model.
Instant accounts with no email or phone is really what sets Nostr apart. Even if it’s not “required”, asking for email should be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.
