Christmas rant: Modern Lego sets are retarded and completely destroy the point of Lego in the first place.

Lego is the original Minecraft, an endless expanse of creation and imagination.

These sets turn it into 3D puzzles.

Dumb. Pointless. Garbage.

Can relate. Had a 4k set of a building this year. It's definitely a 3D puzzle, which is cool, but yeah, it's paint by numbers completely

All the sets are branded now too. Star Wars, Marvel, whatever is new thing.

I remember knights, pirates, and race cars. Closet thing I found was the City series. Glad my Mom saved my Lego bin, my kids love digging in it.

Unrelated, but playmobils always seemed cool to me. Not much construction but the world is kinda cool. They're so expensive though! Never had many of my own as a kid.
