Why? The devs didn't add that function.

Indeed, Primal is the only client I know of that notifies you about follows.

It would be nice if #Amethyst had more controls regarding notifications. If enough users want something like that and let nostr:nprofile1qqsyvrp9u6p0mfur9dfdru3d853tx9mdjuhkphxuxgfwmryja7zsvhqpzamhxue69uhhv6t5daezumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tcpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcscpyug know about it, it just might get added.

Primal (and some other Web clients) run a server so it's easier to do notifications.

Amethyst architecture is very decentralised.

Too heavy to track all new follow notifications from all relays. Primal does that through a centralized service that we will never build.

OK thanks for the information !

How about thru a decentral service?

Hopefully somebody will build a DVM for that

OK I didn't know, I'm new here, thanks for the information ! πŸ‘Œ Indeed that would be awesome if they add it. I couldn't find a better Nostr app on Android, I tried many.

Yeah, #Amethyst is the top dog for Nostr clients on Android, for sure.

Yes it's pretty cool, I just have an issue with the # that I saved so see in my main feed. Sometimes they disappear. Probably a bug tho but I have to put them back again pretty often.
