He’s not wrong - ALL things benefit Bitcoin on a long enough timeline.

That said NYKNYK is a thing and strong self custody easily keeps us from repeating mistakes made in BTC 16 year history. Not to mention a whole lot of shenanigans to be avoided.

I’m actually going to disagree with most people on this one. Despite his dumb statement, I still think Saylor is a force for good in the BTC world.

He doesn't support bitcoin devs and holds all microstrategy BTC on coinbase.

He is also developing a bitcoin-based digital Id system.
