How did you justify this? Would love to hear about the considerations. I get you need to have a connection to your node, but then does this also apply to "on the phone" instances where we have no other channels... so you can't rebalance through us.

We did some analysis and felt that the UX, profit, and incentive tradeoffs were all worth it.
Zero-fee routes are now required for all payments, whether it be with a remote or mobile node.
