well, i think that while the temperatures are going to drop, the electrical energy being soaked up by the planet is going to be at all time highs, as is the rates of genetic mutation

i'm more or less girding myself for 30 years living in a bunker herding goats and barbecues in constant cold conditions... i still haven't figured out where i want that to be exactly, there's a number of candidates but the really nice ones after the change are really shit right now (eg, the alps, the mountains of southern argentina, the centre of australia, the mountain regions around south africa and namibia... balkans seems nice, and there is also siberia/mongolia and the eastern rockies... pretty much the rest of the world is gonna get washed away, and then frozen

the normies are not prepared for this at all, it is not wise to be around such large numbers of people in a natural disaster situation and one of the things that is almost certain to happen is total loss of the power grid and electronic tech, that will probably happen within 10 years, imagine the chaos of all these people who've been in a trance all day long staring at flickering screens suddenly having to actually talk to each other again, oof

The nice ones are indeed shit right now.

This is taking entrepreneurship to the next level for sure.

yeah, i'm completely clueless as to which direction to go, i just know that one needs to be above 600m and more than 600km from the sea if possible... the thing is only two out of that list involve being somewhere people speak english, and most of them mean even more crappy postal service than here in the atlantic 🤣

and you look up the altitude of human settlements... like, here on Madeira, there is one small area above 600m altitude and everything else on the island is in sloshing distance if not visual distance of the sea, and i'm pretty sure the atlantic is gonna be pretty wild with the giant faultline down the middle and the electromagnetic anomaly down in the south

What's wrong with the Alps then? Seems like it'd be n°1 on my list.

when the power grid goes down and the fuel shipments fail how are you gonna deal with -20'C winters, and probably 15'C summers if the cloud formation keeps ticking up
