i wonder what is going to happen when people start to complain about the amount of AI generated content on social networks

are we going to see a bots rights movement and a meme about botphobia being evil?

can we be inb4 and call ourselves antibots? then we can say "why would you be supporting artificial manipulation of the social discourse?" just like antifa tries to do this about people not being against whatever they define as fascism? which is basically anything that is not communism btw.

antibots are not against AI, they are against deception

AI content is really the only think on Facebook anymore at least from what my friends tell me.

Currently AI generated content gets the most attention in analytics by far in all forms of content or interaction. It's not even close, it outperforms even the best tiktok ads at the moment by a large margin. The numbers say people want to see AI content. At a minimum they can't stop interacting with it, which means it will continue to be stuff in people's faces until they decide to stop interacting with it.

Unfortunately it takes a long time for marketing to change tact so were likely to be stuck with it for a while.

idk what to say, not for nothing i moved to nostr

i realised in 2021 that much of tech social was manipulation, because i was attacked this way by employers, in a really brazen way

what a mess, the people are so plato's cave

they are happy with shadows of reality

how am i supposed to have sympathy for them?

Yeah for me sometime in 2020 I realized I spent too much time and got nothing but frustration in return. That's why I'm here also. Unfortunately I'm kind of on both sides. Ads sell really well on Facebook, but it's objectively just an ad wasteland I will never use again.
