If you’re using Damus, you can just paste your LN invoice into your dialogue box and post it. If you’re using a web client - not sure, since I’ve mainly been using on mobile.

I think it’s because I had already paid his invoice. Thought I had seen that Damus is working to implement showing already-paid invoices at some point, to prevent successive failed attempts. Maybe? Maybe I’m making that up haha.
