I've heard those wiring harnesses go for miles... quite literally X2... I helped my dad replace a wiring harness on a replacement rear hatch door... So many branches, connections and badly designed connectors... Vehicles are purposefully NOT designed for disassembly, because if they were, you could just repair anything yourself without any dependence on the car coporations...
In the old days we would get a Haynes? Hayes? Manual... It would attempt break down everything in the vehicle and label everything... I don't know if these exist for newer cars...
If we're going this far, may I suggest ripping out the Bluetooth too? It's blue for a reason...
