Just moved from Graphene to iOS. Gave it 2.5 years.
Mixed feelings but Graphene makes everything a PITA. If I was truly a dissident and the state was interested in me I see the use case. For now it makes everything too difficult.

Car/Maps are shit, photos are shit I sadly need the clean iOS experience
I think PWAs are the future but we need more browser apis that allow for private key material used outside the DOM
right on i’ve always thought about the possibility of basically a venv for phone OS. iOS for convenience but some secondary FOSS privacy focused OS installed in tandem for sensitive shit/protection and security. likely never gonna see that but it’d be cool.
Yeah. Easy to get a new pixel for such things and flash Graphene onto it
