Thank you, My first time cooking it. I should have tied it, its the top of the prime rib i butchered just after easter.

I put a rub of chives, garlic, & Hayes seasoning salt on top. Could have brooled for another 4 minutes but i was worried i would overcook it as it wasnt tied.

The seasonings sound delicious! I have some braising ribs and brisket in my freezer to cook up. I bet the brisket would taste great with those seasonings mentioned above too!

Oh i havent done a brisket, will put it on my list. Any tips?

Definitely coat the brisket with mustard first and then add spices after. Cook low & slow too!! I don’t have a smoker yet but it can be done in a Dutch oven on the bbq or oven! It’s one of my favourites!
