I think it can go too far and is nuanced. All of my childhood bullies inflated their egos so large prematurely because of their success bullying their way to the top of the class hierarchy. Every single one of them has utterly failed as an adult because they really thought this would apply through life as success. Yes, it helped me succeed in the long run but at the detriment to many in hindsight. Balance is key here ⚖️
