Would be cool if Amethyst had a in-built Tor only setting. So I don't have to worry about the only privacy invasive nostr feature (IP exposed to relays). IMO it should be default and not need Orbot routing the whole device connections through TOR.

nostr:npub1jg552aulj07skd6e7y2hu0vl5g8nl5jvfw8jhn6jpjk0vjd0waksvl6n8n green has the option to route through TOR and it's independent of Orbot, doesn't need any further installation and is just a simple toggle under app settings.

IMO this should be default on all Nostr apps.

Maybe one day we will get there. It's a lot of work to keep a Tor client running in the app. Libs are still quite young and difficult to use/maintain. Not even Brave has Tor built in yet.

You can turn Orbot on just for Amethyst if you want. You don't need to route all apps through it.

But I agree that all Nostr apps should route through Tor by default. We will get there..
